Safety & Ingredients — Auvier Parfums

At Auvier Parfums, we believe in the beauty of nature — and in being completely transparent about what goes into our fragrances. We create all-natural perfumes that prioritize skin safety, ethical sourcing, and quality without compromise.

100% Natural Ingredients

Every Auvier Parfums fragrance is made using only natural ingredients.
That means:

  • No synthetic aroma chemicals

  • No artificial preservatives

  • No petroleum-derived materials

  • No phthalates, parabens, or dyes

Our formulas include natural essential oils, absolutes, resins, tinctures, and plant extracts — carefully blended and diluted using natural alcohol derived from organic sugarcane or grain.

Safety Practices

We’re proud to say our fragrances are created with care — for both people and the planet.

  • IFRA Compliance:
    Even though we use only natural materials, we still formulate in line with IFRA (International Fragrance Association) safety guidelines. IFRA sets globally recognized limits on how fragrance ingredients can be safely used, and we follow those standards to help reduce the risk of irritation or sensitivity.

  • Trusted Sourcing Only:
    All of our raw materials come from reputable, transparent suppliers who specialize in natural fragrance materials. We do not use ingredients unless we trust their origin and quality.

  • Patch Testing (Not Lab Testing):
    We perform in-house patch testing on ourselves and volunteer users to assess skin compatibility and scent performance. We do not conduct formal lab-based testing (e.g., dermatological studies or clinical trials).

  • Cruelty-Free:
    We never test on animals, and we do not buy from suppliers who do.

Important Usage Information

  • Always patch test first:
    Even natural ingredients can cause reactions. Apply a small amount to clean skin (e.g. inside the elbow) and wait 24–48 hours. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

  • Fragrance allergies:
    Many natural ingredients, especially essential oils, contain naturally occurring allergens like limonene, linalool, citral, or eugenol. These are required to be disclosed if above certain levels — you’ll find them listed on each product’s label when applicable.

  • Medical or skin conditions:
    If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a known medical condition or skin sensitivity, consult your doctor before use.

Typical Ingredients in Auvier Parfums

Each product will list its ingredients on the label or packaging. Ingredients typically include:

  • Alcohol (natural/organic) – Our carrier base

  • Essential oils – Steam-distilled from flowers, woods, herbs, spices, and citrus

  • Absolutes & resins – Such as jasmine absolute, labdanum resin, or benzoin

  • Natural extracts & tinctures – For depth and longevity

  • Natural aroma compounds (within essential oils):

    • Limonene

    • Linalool

    • Citral

    • Geraniol

    • Eugenol

    • Farnesol

    • Coumarin
      (These are naturally occurring in essential oils and are not added as isolates.)
